Application and notification

• How do I register?
  
• It's easy! Just click "Apply now" on the page of the course you are interested in, fill in the form and press "Submit".
  

• Is the application binding?
  
• The first application via the registration form is not binding. Only after you have received an admission notice for the course and you have accepted is your application binding.
  

• How soon do I have to accept my place in the course?
  
• The email you received with the offer of a place in the course will indicate the application deadline.
  

• Is it possible to extend the deadline for accepting the placement?
  
• If the closing date indicated in the email has not been met, there may be a chance to extend the deadline slightly - please contact us if this is the case. If the date has passed, you must reapply.
  

• Can I change my mind after I have accepted?
  
• You have a 14-day right of withdrawal after you have accepted the course. After this date and up to 14 days before the start of the course, you will be charged 10% of the course fee for administrative costs in case of cancellation. Cancellations within 14 days of the course start date will be charged 30% of the course fee. Once the course has started, there is no refund of the course fee.
  

• If my employer is paying for the course, should my employer or I submit the application?
  
• Register yourself via the application form. Then, when you are admitted to the course and are required to pay, contact us to provide the payer's billing details.
  

• Do I need to submit any proof that I meet the prerequisites for the course?
  
• Not in the case of hardware or software requirements. In cases where you need to have some formal knowledge or have completed a basic course, you will receive a request to demonstrate eligibility for the course soon after your application is received.
  

• What happens if I become ill and cannot start or complete the course?
  
• If you fall ill before the start of the course, the following applies: up to 14 days before the start of the course, you will be charged 10% of the course fee as an administrative cost for cancellation. Cancellations within 14 days of the start of the course will be charged 30% of the course fee.
  If the course has started when you need to cancel it, no fee will normally be refunded. Upon presentation of a medical certificate, you may be given the opportunity to complete the course at a later date. In the event of serious illness that makes further study impossible, exceptions may be made and part of the course fee may be refunded.
  

Payment and finances

• How do I pay for the course?
  
• When you reply to the email offering you a place in the course, provide us with your invoice details and we will send you an invoice via our partner Svea. If you prefer, you can receive a payment link where you can choose to pay by card, direct bank payment, installment or invoice, but you will need to use that link within two days.
  

• Is it possible to pay for the course in installments?
  
• Yes, if you ask to receive a payment link from us instead of an invoice, you can choose to pay by installments after clicking on the payment link.
  

• Can I pay by invoice?
  
• Yes, invoice is the preferred method of payment.
  

• What do I do if my employer is to pay for the course?
  
• Register yourself via the application form on the course page. As soon as possible after you receive notification that you have been accepted, contact us with details on where to send the invoice.
  

• Are there any additional costs, such as courseware or software?
  
• For most courses, you need to have the latest version installed of the software that the course deals with, shown under Prerequisites on the course page. Otherwise, all materials needed to complete the course are included in the course fee. This includes course literature, assignments and where applicable, fees for certification exams.
  

• Can I get CSN for your courses?
  
• No, our courses do not qualify for student aid.
  

Practical question / Advice

• Are the courses full-time?
  
• The exact structure of the courses varies, from half a day to several months. Usually it is one or two full days a week for a few weeks.
  

• Do I need to know how to code to learn Unity or Unreal?
  
• The prerequisites for all courses are listed on each course page.
  

• How do I know if my computer is up to scratch?
  
• Check that your computer meets the minimum requirements for the software to be used in the course. You can find information about this on the websites of the respective software manufacturers.
  

About online learning

• What software do you use for online teaching?
  
• Zoom is used in the vast majority of cases, but Microsoft Teams is used in some courses.
  

• Do I need a Zoom subscription to participate in the classes?
  
• No, you can use the free version of Zoom.
  

• Can I test to make sure Zoom works before the course starts?
  
• Yes - Zoom has a test feature on its site https://zoom.us/test where you can click on the Join button and test that your connection works.
  

• How fast of a connection do I need?
  
• Normally a stable connection of 10 Mbps (up and down) is sufficient. For the best stability, we recommend a wired (ethernet) connection instead of wifi or cellular data.
