This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of video editing, from technical principles and formats to professional workflows. The course covers digital storytelling, color management, audio and video synchronization, as well as industry-standard tools such as Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer. Participants learn to efficiently manage and organize media files, use optimized and proxy media for smooth workflows, and apply advanced editing techniques to create engaging visual narratives.
Great emphasis is placed on color correction and adapting content for different distribution platforms, including social media, streaming services, and broadcast. AI plays a role in the training, with students gaining hands-on experience using AI-powered tools for editing, automation, subtitling, audio cleanup, and image enhancement. The course also highlights ethical and legal aspects of AI-generated content and copyright.
Upon completion, participants will be able to plan and execute a video editing process from raw material to finished production. They can combine AI-based tools with traditional methods, handle multi-camera projects, and export video content according to industry standards. With a comprehensive understanding of modern video production, they are ready to work independently or in teams within a professional production environment.
