Dive deeper into Unreal's animation tools and create a realistic animation for a character of your choice!

In this one-week intensive, you will learn everything you need to know to create character animations from various options, from a realistic human to a cartoon character, from a humanoid to a fairytale creature. We will guide you on how to successfully rig and animate your character realistically.

We start with the UE5 Animation Blueprint and how to create and control State machines and BlendSpaces in AnimGraph and then explore EventGraph to calculate and update values. You will go in-depth into Control Rig and how to create flexible and procedural rigs. You will also learn about Skeleton Assets and Skeletal Controls, Animation Sequences, Montages and State Machines.
Upon completion of the Unreal Engine course, students will be able to demonstrate a range of knowledge, skills and competencies that include:
^{Control Rig}^{- a scriptable node-based rigging system designed to provide artists with the tools to create flexible, dynamic, and procedural rigs with animator-friendly interfaces.}

^{Animation Blueprint}^{- a specialized blueprint that controls the animation of a skeleton mesh. Graphs are edited in the Animated Blueprint Editor, where students can perform animation blending, directly control the bones of a skeleton, or set up logic that will ultimately define the final animation pose of a Skeletal Mesh to be used per frame.}
^{EventGraph -performs value updates.}
^{AnimGraph -controls state machines, BlendSpaces or other nodes; enables blending between multiple animation sequences or poses that can send messages to other systems and enables dynamic animation-driven effects.}
^{Live Link - streams data from a variety of sources directly to student characters in real time.}

What is included in the price?

All materials needed to complete the course are included in the course fee. This includes course literature, exercise assignments and fees for the certification exam.

The course is held remotely in a virtual classroom. All lectures are recorded and are available as reference material for two weeks after course completion.
