This course program, Media Composer - Certified User, is developed by Avid to cover all the features and tools needed to work with Media Composer at a professional level.

Your knowledge will be verified at the end of the course with two official certification exams. Upon passing the exam, you will receive a certification certificate from Avid and you can be listed in their database as an Avid Certified User: Media Composer, if you so choose.

Course contents

The training program is divided into two courses:

MC101: Media Composer Fundamentals I (length: 2 days)

MC110: Media Composer Fundamentals II (length: 3 days)

MC101 covers the basic features of Media Composer such as:

Navigation and settings of Media Composer's GUI
Creating and organizing projects as needed
Editing different media types (audio and video) using basic tools
Finalizing media and appropriate export options

MC110 builds on the knowledge gained in MC101, delving into Media Composer's more advanced features for working with high-resolution images, syncing audio to video, audio mixing, editing and managing video effects, and more.
