This course program, Avid Certified User: Pro Tools, was developed by Avid to cover all the features and tools needed to work with Pro Tools at a professional level.

Your knowledge will be verified at the end of the course with two official certification exams. Upon passing the exams, you will receive a certificate of certification from Avid and can be listed in their database as an Avid Certified User: Pro Tools, if you so choose.

Course contents

The training program is divided into two courses:
- PT101: Pro Tools Fundamentals I (duration: 2 days)
- PT110: Pro Tools Fundamentals II (duration: 3 days)
PT101covers the most basic features of Pro Tools such as:
- Recording audio and MIDI
- Creating and modifying sessions
- Basic mixing and mastering
- Navigating and understanding the Pro Tools GUI and more
- File management and troubleshooting
- PT110builds on the knowledge gained inPT101, taking a deep dive into Pro Tools' more advanced features for working with audio to video, audio and MIDI editing and mixing.
