
The course examines how artificial intelligence can be used as a professional tool in creative workflows within the production of digital content. The focus is on how AI can be integrated into idea development, production, publishing and analysis of digital content across several media formats such as text, image, audio and video.
The course includes, among other things:
The course includes practice-based elements where the student works with AI-based tools in creative workflows that correspond to professional production environments.
The course concludes with an in-depth applied project in which the student plans, carries out and analyses an AI-assisted production connected to their professional role, with a focus on quality, efficiency and ethical responsibility.

The course learning outcomes are assessed through several forms of knowledge assessment that combine theoretical understanding and practical application.

The assessments are designed to ensure that the student can use AI in a professional, responsible and quality-conscious manner in creative workflows.
At least six months of full-time professional experience in media production within audio, video, text or image.
Professional experience may come from, for example:
The experience may also have been obtained through employment, freelance work, assignments or independent projects, provided that the work corresponds to professional media production in structured production processes where quality, publishing and audience adaptation are central elements.
The education is structured in line with established industry frameworks for AI competence.
CertNexus AIM-110 Artificial Intelligence for Business Professionals is used as a reference framework for key knowledge areas within generative AI, ethics, legal considerations and practical application.
Certification is voluntary.
During the review of the course syllabus for AI for Digital Creators – Idea Development, Production, Publishing and Analysis (30 YH credits), it was identified that the section concerning assessment methods may need clarification.
The current course syllabus describes the examination in general terms. In order to more clearly reflect the course learning outcomes and follow common structures in higher vocational education, it is proposed that the assessment be specified so that the connection between knowledge, skills and competences and the respective assessment method becomes clear.
Proposed adjustment to the course syllabus
