Decision Item – Adjustment and Adoption of the Course Syllabus

During the review of the course syllabus for AI for Digital Creators – Idea Development, Production, Publishing and Analysis (30 YH credits), it was identified that the section concerning assessment methods may need clarification.

The current course syllabus describes the examination in general terms. In order to more clearly reflect the course learning outcomes and follow common structures in higher vocational education, it is proposed that the assessment be specified so that the connection between knowledge, skills and competences and the respective assessment method becomes clear.

Proposed adjustment to the course syllabus

The assessment is clarified so that:

  • Knowledge outcomes are assessed through analytical and reflective assignments concerning AI theory, ethics and the use of AI in digital production.
  • Skills outcomes are assessed through practical assignments where the student uses AI tools in creative workflows.
  • Competence outcomes are assessed through a final applied project in which the student plans, carries out and analyses an AI-assisted production connected to their professional role.

The adjustment does not change the content or scope of the course, but only clarifies how the course learning outcomes are assessed.

Based on this adjustment, it is proposed that the updated course syllabus be adopted.
